Ultimate Gameday is our action-packed spring tradition where competition meets heart—and in 2027, we’re proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary of this incredible community-driven event. Hosted at NC State Football’s Practice Facilities, it’s a high-energy day of flag football, cornhole, tailgates, and unforgettable moments. What began nearly a decade ago as a spirited tournament has grown into a powerful rallying cry, bringing together celebrity athletes, corporate teams, and the community to compete, connect, and give back. Beneath every play is a deeper purpose: supporting families facing a parent or caregiver’s cancer diagnosis. Whether you’re on the field or on the sidelines, you’re part of something bigger—helping bring joy, belonging, and hope to families when they need it most.

NEW THIS YEAR: GAMEDAY CHALLENGE
We’re excited to introduce the Gameday Challenge (formerly the MVP sponsor level and Cornhole Tournament) — a brand-new addition to Ultimate Gameday 2026.
The Gameday Challenge is a fun, course-style competition where teams rotate through 9 to 12 activity “holes,” similar to a golf scramble format. Each station features a different tailgate-inspired challenge — from cornhole tosses to golf simulator swings, obstacle courses, relay games, and more. It’s designed for teams to bond, compete, and give back — all in one exciting afternoon.
Also new this year: KidsCAN! families, both current and alumni, are invited to register and field their own Gameday Challenge team — or join forces with another family — to play and connect with others who understand their journey. Family participation is free of charge, thanks to generous sponsors.
DATES TO KNOW
Friday Feb 27th - Registration Deadline for Premium and Lombardi Level Sponsorships including any add on Flag Football Teams.
Thursday March 5th - Jersey Draft (Lombardi Teams select their jersey color). This will be a weeknight, after work event.
Friday March 6th - Registration Deadline for MVP and All Pro Sponsor Levels as well as any additional add MVP Teams
Friday March 13th - Deadline for KidsCAN! Family MVP Teams
Monday March 16th - Flag Football Captain's Meeting (Virtual), Volunteer Meeting (Virtual)
Saturday, March 21st - 9th Annual Ultimate Gameday Event
Tuesday March 31st- All team fundraising ends and winner of this competition announced.
